  • Summary

    Darren Cordano is an associate attorney at Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry & Christopherson, where his practice focuses on estate planning, trust and probate litigation, estate administration, and general civil litigation. He represents trustees, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, conservators, and individuals in complex disputes involving trusts, estates, real property, and related financial misconduct.

    Mr. Cordano takes a client-centered and strategic approach to his practice, with an emphasis on practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and long- term objectives. He regularly handles contested trust and probate matters, including petitions under Probate Code sections 850 and 17200, fiduciary surcharge actions, elder financial abuse claims, and disputes involving trust administration, amendments, and beneficiary rights. In addition to his probate and trust work, he has experience litigating a broad range of civil matters, including real-property disputes and business- related litigation.

    Mr. Cordano earned his Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law in 2014 and holds an undergraduate degree in Humanities from California State University, Chico.

    He is an active member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association and the San Joaquin County Inns of Court. He is also a member of Leadership Stockton, Class of 2026, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement and community leadership in the Central Valley. Mr. Cordano is dedicated to mentoring youth and actively participates in professional development programs.

    Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Cordano coaches Junior Giants Baseball, enjoys travel and the arts, and believes that exposure to different cultures and perspectives fosters both personal growth and innovative problem-solving.
