Mr. Perry, our senior partner, has spent his entire career with the Kroloff firm, following law school graduation and admission to the California Bar.

His practice has been devoted to civil litigation, while establishing an enviable record as a trial attorney. During his career, with more than 100 civil jury trials in 12 California counties and Nevada, his cases have included the successful defense of:

    • Employee lawsuits alleging discrimination, harassment, and breach of contract.

    • Professional liability cases for hospitals, physicians, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, attorneys and architects.

    • Premises liability cases for retailers, manufacturers, medical facilities, and property owners.

    • Product liability cases for manufacturers.

    • Motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian accidents for motorists, truckers, and commercial carriers.

    • Injury and death claims against entertainment facilities and event organizers.

    • Commercial litigation.

    • Public entities, including Hospital Districts.

Mr. Perry has been recognized by his peers by election to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite group of civil trial attorneys representing plaintiffs and defendants, with a mission to preserve and foster the civil jury trial system, and to promote civility by trial attorneys with their adversaries, witnesses and judges. Locally, he served as President of the Sacramento Valley Chapter. He has also been elected to membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, a prestigious national group of defense leaders and defense lawyers.

He is the author of book chapters on jury selection: Co-author, “Selecting and Seating the Jury,” chapter, CIVIL PROCEDURE DURING TRIAL, vol. 1, California Continuing Education of the Bar, 1982; Co-author, “Jury Selection,” chapter, CALIFORNIA TRIAL PRACTICE: CIVIL PROCEDURE DURING TRIAL, California Continuing Education of the Bar, 1995.

He is a long-time member of the Stockton Rotary Club and has served as President of the San Joaquin County YMCA, and as a Board member of the Stockton Symphony Association. He is also a member of the Consuelo M. Callahan Inn of Court.

Personal interests include hiking, camping, backpacking and fly fishing in earlier years, and watersports:  waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, and most recently, kiteboarding.  He is a lifelong skier and has tried to be “leader of the pack” to the family’s Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds.
