Jason L. Perisho is a Lincoln High School graduate and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and Spanish from the University of California, Davis and a Juris Doctor degree from the Laurence Drivon School of Law, where he graduated in 2008 as class Valedictorian.
Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Perisho regularly assists clients in both Spanish and English. His practice primarily focuses on estate planning, trust and probate matters, tax audits, tax collection matters involving the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department and the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, as well as real property transactions, corporate formations, dissolutions and general business matters.
Mr. Perisho is a member of the California State Bar and San Joaquin County Bar Association and has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
Represents clients in tax audits.
Negotiates with tax agencies to resolve clients’ tax liability.
Plans and drafts estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
Represents executors and administrators in probate matters.
Represents trustees, including corporate trustees, in trust administration matters.
Represents beneficiaries of trusts and estates.
Handles a variety of trust and estate disputes, including will and trust contests.
Develops family and business succession strategies and prepares appropriate documentation, including limited partnership agreements, limited liability companies, operating agreements, and agreements among shareholders and tenants in common.
Represents conservators and conservatees in conservatorship matters.
Negotiates and drafts real estate purchase agreements, sale agreements, “ag” leases, and commercial leases.
Serves community youth swim team league as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.
Assists in reading program at local elementary school.
Volunteers as a coach in local youth basketball, baseball and softball leagues.
Served as Board member for United Cerebral Palsy - San Joaquin County.
Served as President of Stockton Crimestoppers, Inc.
Jason lives in Stockton with his wife, who is a school teacher, and his two school-age children
